Flirty Cuties Review

  • Preset “Flirts” to spark conversations
  • Lots of messaging tools
  • Easy to share photos and videos

As you’d expect from a dating site that includes “Flirt” in its name, Flirty Cuties is aimed at Canucks looking for fun singles to flirt with. It’s as sweet as maple syrup, but also just as sticky, because you’ll find this site confusing and hard to navigate. Canadian men and women can find same-sex or other-sex partners for hookups and casual dates by browsing and sending messages, but there aren’t any serious matchmaking tools.

Matchmaking Features

Flirty Cuties doesn’t have any matchmaking tools—you’ll have to find your own partners on this site. It has pretty good search filters, so you can hunt down women with your favourite eye and hair color, body type, ethnicity, and even select marital status and orientation.

Once you’ve found someone that you want to contact, you can choose to send a Wink or a full message. Messages come as regular text messages, photo messages, or video messages. But if you’re a free member, you can only send up to 5 messages per day, and only one to any given user. That makes it awkward to have a real conversation unless you pay up.

You can also send a Flirtcast, which is a cutesy, short ice-breaker that can be sent to a lot of members at the same time. Flirtcasts are available to paid and free members equally and can include preset or customized text.

The main problem with Flirty Cuties is that when you’re a male user, you can’t view a woman’s full profile. When you click on a user, you’ll just be shown a cropped photo and basic personal info. You have to pay to upgrade to a full member to see more. On the other hand, female users can see all the photos, videos, and information shared by male users, for free.

One last feature on Flirty Cuties is the ‘Like Gallery.' This shows you one profile at a time, and you can click the heart or X icon if you think he or she is ‘cute or not.'

No Canadian could have trouble signing up to Flirty Cuties. It’s simple, just enter your email address, set a password, and add the confirmation code that's sent to your email inbox. Once you've created an account, it's up to you if you want to add anything else to it. When you initially sign up, you'll be asked for a photo and given instructions for the size and format. You can also choose answers from a drop-down menu to questions about your hair color, marital status, ethnicity, orientation, and body type. No complicated questionnaires, quizzes, or deep investigation about your personality type. Perfect for straightforward singles.

The biggest gripe about Flirty Cuties is that men and women have different pricing. Male Canucks have to pay to be considered ‘full members.’ Once you’re a full member, you’ll be able to send unlimited messages using all messaging tools and see women’s full profiles.

Women get to see full profiles as free members, but they only get unlimited messaging and other advantages when they upgrade.

There are 3 upgrade options for women:

  • Buy Extra Security if you want to browse incognito, use strong encryption, and auto-clear your site history.
  • Buy Chataholic if you want unlimited messaging, top ranking in search results, and your messages at the top of the messenger window.
  • Buy Premium Dater if you want both Chataholic and Extra Security, for a discount price.

User Experience

Although it's easy to sign up to Flirty Cuties, the rest of the site is actually confusing. It takes some browsing to find the Help section (it's hidden under your profile if you're still looking). Some of the tools can be hard to find as well, and it's not clear what all the different messaging options are. The biggest problem is that Flirty Cuties uses different terms for the same thing in different places. Friends are also Favorites, but you might look for the Friends section for a long time without success before realizing this.

Flirty Cuties makes it completely clear that you’re responsible for your own safety on the site. It’s all up to you to check out other users and decide if you trust them. Flirty Cuties doesn’t run any background or criminal checks on anyone. The only thing Flirty Cuties offers, is to check that you’re actually human and not a bot. If you’ve chosen to do this, you’ll get a ‘Verified member’ tag on your profile. It is very easy to report or block someone, but they won’t be removed from the site, only from your own feed. When it comes to data security, Flirty Cuties is secured using SSL encryption, so your personal information can’t be accessed by a third-party.

Once you find the Help section, you'll be able to browse through the FAQs, which answer most basic user questions about Flirty Cuties. If you require more assistance, you'll have to fill out an online web form. Flirty Cuties doesn't offer email, telephone, or live chat support, and there's no information about customer support hours.

Is Flirty Cuties Right for Me?

Are you a Canadian looking for online flirting and casual dating? Then, if you can stand the confusing website, Flirty Cuties is a good fit for you. It’s fast to join, so you’ll be browsing profiles and flirting with strangers in no time. But are you on the hunt for long-term love and a compatible personality? If so, you’ll find Flirty Cuties frustrating and shallow.
